Tate, Four Movements to the Music of Steve Reich
Tate Modern, the world-renowned museum of modern and contemporary art in London, currently led by Belgian Chris Dercon, wants to extend its activities. This summer will see the opening of the Tanks, a series of...well...tanks with a diameter of thirty meters, dedicated to exhibiting live art, performance, installation, and experimental films. The opening of the Tanks will be launched with a festival running from 18 July to 28 October, in which work by choreographers such as Boris Charmatz and Rabih Mroué – both recent guests at the Kunstenfestivaldesarts – and Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker will be presented. The Brussels choreographer will perform a revised version of Fase, Four Movements to the Music of Steve Reich, her second production from 1982. More info: www.tate.org.uk
