Le dessinateur de B.D. français Ted Benoit, l’un des représentants les plus illustres de la célèbre « ligne claire » qui caractérise l’école franco-belge et dont le bruxellois Hergé a été le père fondateur avec Tintin, porte un regard large et fouillé sur son parcours dans une nouvelle publication : Camera Obscura.

Een “dubbel meezing-, dans- en (voor)leesboek”, dat is een hele mondvol als omschrijving van een luister-cd met bijbehorend prentenboek. Red de wereld van Compagnie Maandacht wil net als zijn titelheld veel. Maar het maakt de ambities niet helemaal waar.

Voor zijn derde editie komt Het Groene Boek naar het Kaaitheater. Het Groene Boek is niet zomaar een boekenbeurs. Voluit is het een “platform voor een transitie naar een sociaal-ecologische samenleving”. (Internationale) academici, kunstenaars en denkers ontmoeten elkaar om zich te buigen over sociaal-ecologische vraagstukken. De mensen achter Het Groene Boek gaan uit van een ruime groep organisaties uit het middenveld.

L’auteur bruxellois aux racines belgo-portugaises Mario Ramos s’en est allé en décembre dernier. Beaucoup trop tôt. Mais avant de partir, il a laissé un dernier album au thème on ne peut plus actuel : la tyrannie et la rébellion contre celle-ci.

From the opening lecture by Algerian author Boualem Sansal to the final note from British author Julian Barnes, the international literary Passa Porta Festival is organising a string of extraordinary evenings this week – about peace, the Arab spring, the short story, etc. On Sunday, the festival will open its famous Parcours through the city. Ten of the one hundred invitees have written pieces for AGENDA that reflect on this edition’s theme: imagination.
