Op vrijdag 1 en zaterdag 2 juni vindt in de straten, op de pleinen en in de culturele centra van Sint-Agatha-Berchem al voor de achtste keer het Visueel Festival Visuel plaats.

La seconde Zeitgeist Party organisée au Recyclart mettra en avant le Juke, musique électronique underground née à Chicago qui a modernisé et accéléré la Ghetto House des années 80 et que l’on peut rapprocher de styles de Detroit comme la Booty Bass et la Ghetto Tech.

Dans les premières minutes de À perdre la raison, un film particulièrement lucide, Joachim Lafosse livre le dénouement. Une mère crie. Quatre cercueils blancs sont embarqués à bord d’un avion à destination du Maroc. Le drame prend place à la fin. Hors-champ, car il n’est pas question de faire du sensationnel.

Don DeLillo’s Cosmopolis was published in 2003, but judging by David Cronenberg’s new film adaptation, it has become more relevant and topical with every passing year, month, and zeptosecond (the concept is explained in the film).

In 1963, the American writer and illustrator Maurice Sendak’s infamous but hugely popular children’s book Where the Wild Things Are was first published. 46 years later Spike Jonze made a wonderful film adaptation of the book. And now Galeries is honouring Maurice Sendak, who passed away earlier this month, with a screening of Jonze’s film (3 June, 15.00, 7+).

In this week's AGENDA, we revisit horror director Dario Argento's Profondo rosso with Claudio Simonetti and his legendary Italian instrumental group Goblin; we shake hands with Sheffield singer Richard Hawley, who, on Standing at the Sky's Edge, is returning to his first love, the guitar; and we see Robert Pattinson playing a Wall Street vampire who makes all other vampires blush in David Cronenberg’s adaptation of Don DeLillo’s novel Cosmopolis.

Un peu danse dans la ville ! Organisée par le Théâtre Marni, la seconde édition du D Festival met à nouveau « la jeune chorégraphie bruxelloise, mixte et internationale » en avant et déborde sur... la place Flagey.

Dans Death II, créé à la Balsamine en 2010, la Sud-Coréenne Kyung-a Ryu (photo) n’hésitait pas à installer des arbres sur la scène. Pas étonnant lorsqu’on découvre son pedigree : chorégraphe, plasticienne, branchée architecture. Dans sa nouvelle (et septième) création, Board on, on board, elle signe donc la chorégraphie et la scénographie pour interroger les quatre éléments : la terre, l’eau, l’air et le feu. Elle écrit : « Board on, on board est une chorégraphie inspirée des hypothèses des anciens Grecs sur les quatre éléments et de théories architecturales, contemporaines du XXI^e siècle. BOARD, surface, panneau, cloison, mur. BOARD ON, le lieu sur lequel je place le panneau. ON BOARD, ce que je place sur le panneau : architecture »… Les créations à venir sont toujours mystérieuses. Restent quelques pistes de créativité. La chorégraphe affirme travailler en trois cercles. Le premier est le mouvement « du danseur qui se développe radicalement avec le matériel… parce que l’humain ne veut pas être même si il est asservi par ce qui l’entoure… » Le second est le cercle des « objets et matériaux » qui forment l’espace, vide ou rempli. Enfin, le dernier cercle est « la main de l’homme, le courant in/out de la matière dans l’espace ».

The “Silence is Sexy” series at the AB is welcoming A Winged Victory for the Sullen, a sumptuous, contemplative collaboration between Americans Dustin O’Halloran and Adam Wiltzie. The latter lives in Brussels. He tells us the unlikely history of this project, which will be performed on stage with a 20-piece orchestra.

In David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis, shown in competition, the billionaire and super-analyst Robert Pattinson hears that he will be attacked at some point during the day. The first attempt is of a humorous kind. Andre Petrescu (Mathieu Amalric) slaps him in the face with a cream pie.

Staring directly into the sun is a harmful undertaking. If you don’t care for all the blurry pink and blue spots you see afterwards, and you’re in the centre of Brussels today, walking around the Petit Sablon district, you might want to take a few moments to step into Galerie Pierre Hallet.

À cet endroit, au carrefour du boulevard Général Jacques et de l’avenue Adolphe Buyl, était autrefois installé un restaurant, La Tourelle. Mais les patrons ont totalement changé de cap il y a trois mois. Avec un nom comme Syllabuse, il est clair que l’on vise, surtout en soirée, des étudiants pour qui les syllabus ne font pas office de Bible. La Bible, c’est ici depuis peu la carte des bières, qui compte pour l’instant 120 étiquettes (il est prévu qu’on en ajoute d’autres).

Festi’Konkoba is een splinternieuw Afrikaans festival dat de West-Afrikaanse muziek en cultuur in de schijnwerpers wil plaatsen en een uitwisseling tussen Afrika en het Westen op gang wil brengen. Tijdens de eerste editie staan de familie Kouyaté en het Konkoba-masker uit het voormalige Mandinka-rijk centraal. Het Mandinka-rijk strekte zich in de middeleeuwen uit over het huidige Mali, Senegal, Burkina Faso, Ivoorkust, Mauritanië, Gambia en Guinee. Het is een gebied dat vandaag nog steeds gekend is om zijn culturele rijkdom, met artiesten als Toumani Diabaté, Ali Farka Touré, Youssou N’Dour of Salif Keita. Of de naar Brussel uitgeweken Malick Pathé Sow, Samba Django en N’Faly Kouyaté. Deze laatste is al een hele tijd erg actief in Anderlecht, met zijn muziekschool Namun School en in het cultuurcentrum Zinnema. Nu komt hij op de proppen met Festi’Konkoba. De grootste trekpleister is het Konkoba Tribut, een eerbetoon aan de grote griot Konkoba Kabinet Kouyaté met optredens van zijn afstammelingen, waaronder de Brusselse zanger, balafon- en koraspeler N’Faly Kouyaté zelf. De Kouyatés zijn een grote griotfamilie, boodschappers van het volk die hun traditie via woord en muziek overdragen. Voorts is er de eindejaarsvoorstelling van de leerlingen van Namun School, met traditionele muziek, dans en zang uit West-Afrika. Er zal ook een lezing plaatsvinden over de geest, het belang en de geschiedenis van het Konkoba-masker. Er worden twee kortfilms getoond: over de culturele reis van de Namun School in Guinee, het geboorteland van Kouyaté, in december 2011. En over de overdrachtceremonie van het Konkoba-masker.

La formule est sans doute un peu usée, mais quelle autre pourrait mieux convenir ? Une « grande dame » de la littérature belge nous a quittés ce 24 mai. Jacqueline Harpman, née à Etterbeek en 1929, s’est éteinte à 82 ans, après une longue et fructueuse carrière d’écrivain et de psychanalyste.

Brussels is bursting with alternative venues. One of these is Schaarbeek/Schaerbeek’s Garage29, which is now presenting the second edition of its OFFestival.

Eind juni pas verschijnt de tweede langspeler van dj en producer Netsky, maar komend weekend al vindt in de AB de Belgische première van zijn liveshow plaats. Werchter en de main stage van Pukkelpop volgen. De 23-jarige Edegemnaar verovert de wereld met drum-’n-bass, een genre dat twee jaar geleden op sterven na dood was. Faut le faire.

The four Belgian days of Cannes started Sunday evening with the screening of Hors les murs by David Lambert in the hall of the Semaine de la Critique. The three-act piece about the tormented love between a pianist at Cinematek and a bartender at the Zebra who winds up in a French prison was well received. The specialist magazine Screen wrote: “Lambert’s greatest talent may lie in creating characters that we care about and developing a film that brings a few fresh twists to an old familiar tale of whether love can conquer every obstacle in its path.”

In this week’s AGENDA, we go looking for Trouble at the performance festival with the same name, but instead we run into superwoman Laurie Anderson who will be kicking off the festival with Dirtday! Another Day in America; we keep quiet and stay sexy for A Winged Victory for the Sullen; we roam the city streets until we find Galician street artist Isaac Cordal’s Wunderkammer; and we park our car in Garage29, where the second edition of the OFFestival is taking place.

Comme le temps file ! Dix ans déjà depuis le dernier épisode et quinze depuis que le duo inédit Will Smith/Tommy Lee Jones s’est glissé pour la première fois dans un costume noir pour rappeler à l’ordre les créatures extraterrestres qui ne se comportent pas correctement sur Terre.

Poor Paul Rudd. After good performances in successful comedies like I Love You, Man, Knocked Up, and The 40 Year Old Virgin, he has finally landed another lead role, but lo and behold, the director is terrible. This film lacks a director who knows why and how to make decisions. The irony is that this kind of rotten luck is typical of Rudd’s character in the film.

Le duo bruxellois Steigeisen, composé du comédien Jeroen Vander Ven et du metteur en scène Thomas Bellinck, a su se faire remarquer ces dernières années avec des productions singulières comme Fobbit, Billy, Sally, Jerry and the .38 gun et Lethal Inc, qui lui a valu d’être sélectionné en 2011 au Theaterfestival. Pour leur dernière création, De onkreukelbare (« L’incorruptible »), sur les coutumes, les fêtes et les rituels de la Révolution française, la compagnie s’est inspirée de la figure controversée de Robespierre. AGENDA vous offre 5x2 places pour la représentation du 2 juin à 20.30 (en NL, surtitré en FR).

De Franse drummer Louis Favre woont al negen jaar in België waarvan vijf in Brussel. “Ik voel mij hier perfect thuis als jazzmuzikant. De Jazz Marathon is voor mij een van de hoogtepunten van het jaar. Het aanbod is enorm. Het feit dat het gratis is, biedt het voordeel dat wie het niet leuk vindt, gewoon verder kan wandelen. Blijft men staan, dan weet je als muzikant dat je iets interessants te bieden hebt. Dat is een goede barometer.”

Saxofonist Bart Defoort maakte aanvankelijk deel uit van een avant-gardistische stroming maar schoof geleidelijk aan op naar de meer traditionele postbop. Sinds de oprichting van het Brussels Jazz Orchestra in 1993 is hij daar een van de pijlers. Onlangs trad de bigband nog zes avonden op in de New Yorkse Village Vanguard samen met Chris Potter en Kenny Werner.

Dans leur chemin toujours périlleux et semé d’embûches vers la gloire, Sharko, Hollywood Porn Stars, Malibu Stacy et Kiss & Drive (photo) sont passés par là : le Concours Circuit, plateforme de lancement des jeunes artistes de musiques actuelles à Bruxelles et en Wallonie. L’édition 2012 de cet événement organisé par l’asbl Court-Circuit (20 ans cette année !) se dédouble pour la première fois en un concours « pop rock » (au sens très large) et un concours « électronique ». Avis à tous ceux qui rêvent de faire sortir leurs compositions de l’ombre et de se confronter à un jury de professionnels : les inscriptions sont ouvertes dès maintenant et jusqu’au 21 juillet. What is the one thing emperors, kings, and plebs all have in common? No, I don’t mean death, I’m referring to the call of nature. A call not even our immortal fellow humans, film stars, can ignore. They are not easy to get hold of. You have to move heaven and earth to be able to scrounge a half-hour interview, and then you’re joined by half a dozen colleagues. But they all need to use the loo at some point or another.

V.O., the group inspired by the visionary ideas of Boris Gronemberger, ventured into Al Capone territory to concoct its recent album, On Rapids. Recording in Chicago under the guidance of John McEntire (of Tortoise), the new album raises the level of pop with panache and audacity, with brassy flights of fancy, melodies constructed with passion, and choruses sung gently and contemplatively.

Ook in de nieuwste Tom Schamp is het mobiliteit troef.  In Tel mee met Otto, de vierde aflevering van de succesvolle reeks, maken Otto en zijn papa een rekenritje met de wagen.

Migrations: seven dancers on ice. Extremely poetical, more discretely political, this piece created by Mossoux-Bonté evokes global freedom of movement.

Kersvers Boekenpauw-winnaar Leo Timmers, moet in een vorig leven autoracer zijn geweest, of automecanicien godbetert. De prentenboeken waarin hij vierwielers laat opdraven, zijn intussen niet meer bij te houden.

De Kinderhoogdag is de voorbije jaren uitgegroeid tot een echt kwaliteitsconcept. Momenteel reist het koninklijke kinderfeest andermaal door Vlaanderen en de Brusselse Rand en houdt zondag 20 mei halt in Kraainem.

Aan onze gezondheid mankeert niets, en toch gingen onze gedachten uit naar een ziekenhuiscafetaria. Het moet niet altijd jong, onbezorgd en om te feesten zijn. Voor patiënten die tot vier muren en een televisiescherm veroordeeld zijn, kan een uitstap naar de cafetaria de dag kleuren. Al hebben de architecten van de vrij recente vleugel van het UZ waar hij gevestigd is, er beslist geen overuren voor gemaakt.

Vermenigvuldig de uithalen van de nochtans bijzonder timide zangeres en gitariste Laura-Mary Carter met de Animal-furie van de hyperactieve drummer, zanger en spraakwaterval Steven Ansell en je krijgt Blood Red Shoes: een duo dat klinkt als een wervelwind én slaaf is van de meeslepende muziek in hun hoofd.

Pasolini’s Mamma Roma (1962) is een van de klassiekers van het Italiaanse neorealisme, een naoorlogse filmstroming die een realistisch portret wou schetsen van de toenmalige maatschappij. Mamma Roma gaat over een gelijknamige ex-prostituee die hogerop wil in het leven. Het kunstenaarsduo Maria Iorio en Raphaël Cuomo vertrok van die klassieker voor zijn video-essay Twisted realism.

The Taschen Store at the Zavel/Sablon has started a fine tradition of photo exhibitions dedicated to Hollywood icons. Their book launches have been accompanied by modest exhibits on Audrey Hepburn and the seventies classic Taxi Driver. The popular art and photography bookshop now devotes an expo to Marilyn & Me: A Memoir in Words and Photographs by Lawrence Schiller.
In 1962, the young Schiller, then working for Paris Match, was sent to the film set of Something’s Got to Give. The actress and the photographer knew one another from an earlier photo shoot so the atmosphere was relaxed and Schiller was able to immortalise a few daring poses of the peroxide blonde star on the edge of a swimming pool. Something’s Got to Give turned out to be Monroe’s last film because the actress died a few months later and Schiller’s pictures suddenly took on a whole new meaning...
The exhibition of about
 twenty photos is supporting the launch of Schiller’s book of the same title that is currently only available in a luxury art edition that costs €1,500.

En deux temps, trois mouvements, BRNS (prononcez « Brains ») a érigé ses quatre consonnes au cœur de l’actualité. Énergique et décomplexée, la pop de la formation bruxelloise transpire l’indépendance et la rage adolescente. Propulsé par le tube Mexico, le quatuor persiste et signe Wounded, un mini album qui voit grand.

Sinds het laatste concert van Think of One vijf jaar geleden, zagen we frontman David Bovée rondhangen in de Brusselse soukousscene en op het carnaval van Recife in Noordoost-Brazilië. Met zijn nieuwe groep S.W.A.N. mengt hij die invloeden met pop en electro. “Typisch Brusselse soepmuziek anno 2012.”

De Brusselse schrijver en theatermaker Pieter De Buysser creëerde voor het Kunstenfestivaldesarts samen met beeldend kunstenaar Hans Op de Beeck Book burning. Begonnen als iets tussen installatie en lecture performance en uitgemond in een archetypische vorm van theater: een man met een kist vertelt.

Roscoe pourrait bien constituer l’avant-garde d’une scène rock belge francophone qui vise l’international sans passer nécessairement par Paris. Avec leur premier album Cracks, les Liégeois placent déjà la barre très haut pour leurs collègues.

In a few hours, the 65^th Cannes Film Festival will officially open. Hundreds of eager fans have already taken their places in front of the famous stairs of the Palais des Festivals, which serve as a red carpet, in the hope of catching a glimpse of Bill Murray, Edward Norton, Tilda Swinton, or Bruce Willis. They all star in the festival’s opening film, Moonrise Kingdom by Wes Anderson.

Michelle Williams was in the spotlight this spring for her Oscar-nominated performance of Marilyn Monroe. It has been clear for far longer that she is among the greatest talents of her generation.

Il y a trois ans, Jacques Audiard a fait sensation au Festival de Cannes avec Un prophète. Cette année, le réalisateur français ne concourt pas sur la Croisette avec un drame de criminels mais avec De rouille et d’os, un mélodrame puissant comptant la plus grande star flamande et la plus grande star française du moment : Matthias Schoenaerts et Marion Cotillard.

De voorbije jaren was België zo goed vertegenwoordigd in Cannes dat we de aanwezigheid van Belgen op de Croisette bijna vanzelfsprekend vinden. Een hoogmoedige gedachte? 2012 spreekt ze alvast niet tegen.

The seventh edition of the Zinneke Parade will take place on Saturday. It will be a feast of scents and colours, animation, music, theatre, dance, crazy costumes, and home-made floats. It is organised by and for all ages and all races, but watch out, they are planning total chaos!

Anima Eterna Brugge & Collegium Vocale Gent are dedicating the evening of 30 May to Mozart at the Centre for Fine Arts, conducted by Jos Van Immerseel. The programme features the little-known Passion cantata Grabmusik, written when the composer was 12 years old. It is thus the ideal counterpart to his famous Requiem, his very last composition. Cinéma Nova is currently running a programme about the British experimental filmmaker Ben Rivers and a number of kindred artistic spirits. Of Rivers’s films, Two Years at Sea is being screened, a fascinating portrait of one Jake Williams who lives as a hermit in the beautiful Scottish woods. Williams appears to be a gifted songwriter and mandolin player, as he will demonstrate after the film screening on 25 May (10 pm) at Cinéma Nova. One week earlier, on 19 May (10 pm), Alasdair Roberts (photo) is dropping in for an evening of vintage folk combined with short films from the 1960s about pubs and local traditions from a bygone age. Een noot vooraf: De trofee van de Roemeense dichter, romancier en essayist Mircea Cartarescu valt u niet zomaar in de schoot. Het tweede deel van zijn romantrilogie Orbitor vergt een uitdagende tocht door de vier dimensies van een krankzinnig, eindeloos en onleesbaar boek.

Van 28 juni tot 1 juli organiseert kunstencentrum Vrijstaat O. op het strand van Oostende voor de derde keer het locatiefestival Dansand! Curator van dienst is Katleen Van Langendonck van het Kaaitheater die een programma samenstelde van creaties, improvisaties en workshops, en daarvoor een beroep deed op heel wat bekende Brusselse artiesten.

En in de reeks First Date wordt dans gekoppeld aan livemuziek door onder meer Samuel Lefeuvre en Stef Kamil Carlens. De Amerikaanse zangeres uit Nevada City (het stadje dat ook Alela Diane en Joanna Newsom grootbracht) zegt dat Gift for the end lang op zich liet wachten omdat ze veel heeft getoerd, maar vooral ook omdat 24 uur op 24 met muziek bezig zijn niet voor haar is weggelegd.

Cassette Connection is a new concept led by Brian “Awesome Tapes From Africa” Shimkovitz. Three DJs, specialised in collecting cassettes of southern sounds, are bringing lo-fi folk-pop, and ethnic gems from Africa, the Middle East, and the Indian Subcontinent – the global underground – to Recyclart for an evening.

Op 24 mei is Robert Zimmerman, ook wel bekend als Bob Dylan, jarig – hij wordt 71. Sinds een paar jaar vieren drie van ’s mans grootste fans die verjaardag met een reeks huldeconcerten in de maand mei.

Toen Jijé, Franquin en Morris nog niet beseften dat de strip steeds serieuzer genomen zou worden en dat zij zouden uitgroeien tot monumenten van het Belgische beeldverhaal, reisden ze naar LA in de hoop voor Walt Disney te kunnen werken. Dat avontuur ligt aan de basis van een controversiële maar vooral zwierige strip.

Street artist Vincent Glowinski, better known as Bonom, is famous for his enormous drawings of animal skeletons throughout the city. For the start of this year's Les Nuits, he has given the Botanique a fresh, new look.
In the Grand Salon he made a giant snake-like skeleton float through the air. To see Bonom's botanical street art, you'll have to attend one of the concerts in the Grand Salon, but those fast enough to get to the Botanique today, between 6 and 9 pm, can visit the Grand Salon for free. Be sure to take a look at the Rotonde as well. There, Bonom made a fresque of…a forest, thereby linking his "permanent" work to the origins of the Botanique.

Johnny Depp was prepared to take on the role of producer in order to make it possible to make this film based on a late-Sixties TV series he was crazy about as a child. His comrade in arms Tim Burton was asked to direct. Sadly, in my opinion both gentlemen are not exacting enough: they often seem to be satisfied with any old idea that comes along, rather than waiting for the very best ideas.

Een meisje opgeknoopt aan een ballon, een extreem dikke bestuurder van een jeep, vier plassende kermisgasten: Miet Warlops voorstellingen zijn een aaneenschakeling van beelden die zich op het netvlies branden en diep in het brein wortelen. Met het nieuwe Mystery magnet is dat niet anders.

On Saturday morning, news broke that Brussels’s beloved millinery and accessory maker Christophe Coppens calls it quits. In an emotional letter, he explained why he made this decision. “Because it is enough. Because the price is too high and the goal no longer justifies the means. It all seems too much and at the same time too little.”

Bowerbirds, a nu-folk band from North-Carolina, garnered quite some attention in the slipstream of Bon Iver with their two modest, sparingly coloured campfire records. Their third album, The Clearing, sounds slightly more polished, and it is doing very well for the group.

Videokunstenaar Pieter Geenen (1979) stelt in het Museum van Elsene drie video’s tentoon en bouwt daarin voort op een lange traditie van landschapskunst. Geenen won vorig jaar de Art’Contest. Hij exposeert continu op verschillende plekken, maar dit is zijn enige solotentoonstelling dit voorjaar. Als verzet tegen een hedendaagse tendens van demystificatie, wekt Geenen schijnbaar verborgen landschappen tot leven.

Maky aka Mathieu D’Angelo n’est pas inconnu sur la scène hip-hop belge. Ce rappeur bruxellois, qui anime des ateliers de slam dans des écoles et des prisons, surprend par sa maturité sur son premier opus Embraser le Calme.

Ariane van Vliet en Alice Reys zijn twee Nederlandse actrices die al een aanvaardbaar lange tijd in België wonen. Als ze tegenwoordig op het podium stappen dan heten ze Wilma en Ans, en zijn ze twee chique dames die zich om een of andere reden in een bos bevinden met livemuziek. Vervolgens hebben ze het op droogkomische wijze over de dingen des kinderlevens.

For some time now, a number of French folk have been showing the way on the Brussels restaurant scene. Nicolas Scheidt at La Buvette, Nicolas Darnauguilhem at Le Neptune, and quite a few others represent what are, in our opinion, the most exciting culinary developments today. And now it is the turn of two Frenchwomen to wake up our taste buds. In Chez Nous, Camille Maurin and Sophie Centenero are creating a perfect Brussels eatery.

De nombreuses communes bruxelloises disposent aujourd’hui de leur propre parcours d’artistes, mais celui de Saint-Gilles figure parmi les plus ambitieux. Pendant trois week-ends, le public peut découvrir l’œuvre de 400 artistes dans 200 ateliers.

Feesten geven in Brussel, het is voor veel bezielers geen evidente onderneming meer. Vooral het gebrek aan goede locaties is een prangend probleem. Maar dat weerhoudt jonge mensen met veel liefde en passie voor muziek niet om nieuwe concepten te bedenken. De crew van Animals Club bestaat uit een achttal dj’s die elkaar geregeld tegen het lijf liepen op feestjes en in bars.

Pas in juli brengt ze met Is your love big enough? haar debuutalbum uit. Maar haar naam ligt nu al op ieders lippen. Lianne La Havas, te ontdekken op Les Nuits, wordt zorgvuldig voorbereid op een grote carrière.

En 1913, Marcel Duchamp posait un geste révolutionnaire en élevant une roue de vélo au statut d’œuvre d’art. Jef Geys, lui, n’élève rien, ne rabaisse rien. Au contraire, il place tout - le sacré et le trivial, les pays, une sculpture et un sachet de semences - au même niveau. Les Musées royaux des Beaux-Arts de Belgique consacrent une rétrospective hors norme à cet artiste hors norme.

De beroemde Franse acteur zal de medaille van de Leopoldsorde opgespeld krijgen, waarna Itinéraire d’un enfant gâté van Claude Lelouch vertoond wordt. Best grappig, want die avonturenfilm herinnert eraan dat Belmondo geen grote fan is van prijsuitreikingen.

À l’amateur d’art qui en a marre des murs dépouillés de son intérieur, l’Artothèque de Wolubilis offre un formidable service : on peut y emprunter chaque mois une ou plusieurs oeuvres d’art. Pour renouveler sa collection, l’Artothèque lance aujourd’hui un appel aux artistes pour qu’ils proposent leurs créations, qui pourront ensuite être louées par des particuliers ou des sociétés. Récente lauréate du prix Magritte pour son rôle dans Les Géants de Bouli Lanners, Gwen Berrou n’en oublie pas les planches et présente Fall into the show aux Riches-Claires. Une histoire de chutes qu’elle a écrite et dans laquelle le spectateur l’aide à tomber.

Une dame vient introduire la soirée, explique au public autour de quoi l’on se réunit. Un jeu de hasard qui bientôt démarre. Gwen Berrou se mue alors en « cette femme qui parce qu’elle a peur de tomber décide de trouver toutes les façons possibles de tomber pour exorciser un peu sa peur ».
